PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Anti-corrosive Primer/ Finish is composed of advanced special resin, zinc powder, filler, auxiliary and solvent. It is a newly-developed long-term special anti-corrosive coating according to the characteristics of power system. It has great salt spray resistance, strong hardness, quick drying ability and great decorative ability. Besides, this product is resistant to abrasion, impact, water, heat, coldness and aging. Other advantages include chemical atmospheric resistance, excellent permeability, acid, alkali and salt resistance, anti-mildew ability and the ability to withstand outdoor exposure and sudden temperature change. On the other hand, the finish paint is aluminum silver in color which won’t fade or be powdered and is able to prevent UV damage.

Typical Uses:

This product is typically used for outdoor and field power transmission and transformation lines, equipment, iron tower, substation and power plant equipment. Moreover, it is also suitable for port machinery, bridge, ship, petrochemical industry, oil tanks, etc.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then add the hardener and stir until it is well mixed.

● Mixing ratio:

Part A: Part B= 5:1 (by weight)

● Thinner:

DRYING SCHEDULE

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surface to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
For bare steel, it shall be sandblasted to reach Sa2.5(iso8501-1:2007) standard. Depending on the environment of the non-immersed part, grinding with power tools is acceptable but shall at least reach St2(iso8501-1:2007) standard.
For shop primed steel, the shop primer shall be clean, dry and approved.
For surface painted coatings, this product can apply only to clean, dry and good compatible primer.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 ℃higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.
Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
