Durable and Strongly Adhesive Two-component Anti-corrosive Paint

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Two Component Anti-corrosive Paint is a long lasting anti-corrosive product composed of modified synthetic resin, film-forming assistant, composite zinc powder anti-rust pigment, curing agent and other materials through scientific and reasonable adjustment of formula. It brings benefits of oil, weather and wear resistance. Besides, this product is also anti-corrosive and has electrochemical protection ability. Because of its good conductivity, temperature resistance, strong adhesion and rapid drying speed, the construction process is convenient.

Typical Uses:

This product is mainly used for the transmission and transformation line equipment of the power system, as well as the special anti-corrosive coating for facilities from power plant, boiler room, water pipeline, flue, etc. It is also recommended to be applied in hydraulic engineering, ports, bridges and ships of water conservancy transportation system. The usage of this paint on oil tank, pipeline and facility window of petrochemical system is also highly appreciated. What’s more, it is very common to use this product on steel structure of ocean, machinery, metallurgy and construction industry.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then add the hardener and stir until it is well mixed.

● Thinner:

● Airless spray:

Nozzle tip: 0.017~0.023 inches

Spray pressure: 15~18Mpa

Thinner ratio: 0~15%(by weight of paint)

● Brush, Roller:

DRYING SCHEDULE

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surface to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
For bare steel, it shall be sandblasted to reach Sa2.5(iso8501-1:2007) standard. Depending on the environment of the non-immersed part, grinding with power tools is acceptable but shall at least reach St2(iso8501-1:2007) standard.
For shop primed steel, the shop primer shall be clean, dry and approved.
For surface painted coatings, this product can apply only to clean, dry and good compatible primer.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 ℃higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.
Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
