Epoxy Zinc Phosphate Anti-rust Paint for Metal Protection
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This two-component product is composed of epoxy resin and polyamide curing agent. With zinc phosphate corrosion inhibitors, the coating is provided with excellent resistance to corrosion, impact, abrasion as well as hard film.
Typical Uses:
This product is designed as the primer or intermediate paint for container, new architecture and its maintenance in air.
Application Guide
● Mixing: Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then as you stir it, you add the hardener until you get to mix well. The mixture was cured for 30 minutes under 10 ℃, while 15minutes over 10 ℃.
● Thinner: Epoxy paint thinner.
● Airless Spray:
Nozzle tip: 0.0185~0.027 inch.
Spray pressure: 15~18 MPa.
Thinner ratio: 5~15% (by weight of paint).
● Brush, Roller:
Recommended. Must achieve required thickness.
● Roll Coating:
Not recommended.

SURFACE TREATMENT
All surface to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
Steel: Sanding to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:2007). It is acceptable to polish by power tools to meet at least St2.0(ISO8501-1:2007).
Steel with shop primer: clean, dry, sound and approved shop primer.
Painted surfaces: only on clean, dry and sound compatible primers.
APPLICATION
Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 ℃ higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH
Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.
Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.
Storage:
Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse away from fire and heat. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature.
