PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is composed of alkyl silicate solution, ultrafine metal powder, color pigment, various additives, etc. With high content of zinc powder, its film has superior cathodic protection and great weather ability. Furthermore, the coating can withstand high temperature up to 400℃.

Typical Uses:

This product is widely designed as the anti-rust primer for the ferrous metal such as bridges, steel structure, iron tower and vehicles. Meanwhile, it can be used as the shop primer.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then as you stir it, you add the hardener until you get to mix well. Generally, if the temperature below 10 ℃, it needs 30 min induction time; if the temperature over 10℃, it needs 15 min induction time.

● Airless Spray:

Part A: Part B = 24:6 (by weight)

● Thinner:

Inorganic exclusive thinner

● Airless Spray:

Nozzle tip：0.017~0.023 inch.

Spray pressure：15~18 MPa.

Thinner ratio：5~15% (by weight of paint).

● Spray, brush, roller:

Recommended must achieve required thickness.

DRYING SCHEDULE

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surface to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.

Steel: Sanding to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:2007). It is acceptable to polish by power tools to meet at least St2.0(ISO8501-1:2007).

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 °C higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.

Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse. Storage temperature should be above 0℃. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
