PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Chlorinated Polyether Anti-corrosive Paint is a high performance anti-corrosive product containing chlorinated polyether resin, composite modified resin, anti-rust pigments and fillers, various auxiliaries and organic solvents. The paint dries quickly and is strongly adhesive. Besides, it is resistant to UV, weather, salt spray and ocean water. What’s more, its anti-corrosive ability is relatively stronger than chlorosulfonated polythene and chlorinated rubber coating. More importantly, compared with other anticorrosive paints, this paint’s film is much more attractive and glossy.

Typical Uses:

This product is applicable to steel structure of chemical atmospheric environment and nonferrous metal and concrete facilities of mechanical equipment, various types of storage tanks, ports, mining locomotive and vehicle to reach the internal and external anti-corrosion purpose.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly.

● Mixing ratio:

Part A: Part B= 20:4 (by weight)

● Thinner:

Special thinner

● Airless spray:

Nozzle tip: 0.018~0.025 inches
Spray pressure: 18~25Mpa
Thinner ratio: 0~15% (by weight of paint)

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surface to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
For bare steel, it shall be sandblasted to reach Sa2.5(iso8501-1:2007) standard. Depending on the environment of the non-immersed part, grinding with power tools is acceptable but shall at least reach St2(iso8501-1:2007) standard.
For shop primed steel, the shop primer shall be clean, dry and approved.
For surface painted coatings, this product can apply only to clean, dry and good compatible primer.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 ℃higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.
Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
