Glossy and Strong Weather Resistant Polyurethane Anti-corrosive Finish Paint

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Polyurethane Anti-corrosive Finish is a two-component coating composed of hydroxy resin,curing agent, pigment, filler, thickening agent, auxiliary and solvent. The paint film is wear resistant, firm and glossy. Besides, this product is resistant to oil, water, and ocean water. What else, its resistance to acid and alkali corrosion is extraordinary. More importantly, this paint is able to stand chemical atmospheric and climate damage.

Typical Uses:

This product is mainly used as anti-corrosive coating for steel structure, but it can also be used on wood and cement products, ships, chemical machines and equipment, as well as storage tanks for protection or decoration.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then add the hardener and stir until it is well mixed.

● Mixing ratio:

Part A: Part B=20:4(by weight)

● Thinner:

Polyurethane thinner

● Airless spray:

Nozzle tip: 0.017~0.023 inches

Spray pressure: 15~18Mpa

Thinner ratio: 5~15% (by weight of paint)

● Brush, Roller:

Recommended

Must achieve required thickness

DRYING SCHEDULE

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surfaces to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
For bare steel, it shall be sandblasted to reach Sa2.5(iso8501-1:2007) standard. Depending on the environment of the non-immersed part, grinding with power tools is acceptable but shall at least reach St2(iso8501-1:2007) standard.
For shop primed steel, the shop primer shall be clean, dry and approved.
For surface painted coatings, this product can apply only to clean, dry and good compatible primer.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 ℃higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.
Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse. Under room temperature, its shelf life is 12 months. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
