Silicone resin heat-resistant anticorrosion paint for chimney,exhaust

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is composed of silicone resin, pigments with resistance to heat and corrosion, fillers, curing agent, additives and so on. With great thermos-stability, this paint can withstand dramatic temperature difference and can sustain even up to 200℃. Besides, it has many other advantages such as great resistance to water, corrosion, chemical atmosphere, electricity and so on. Furthermore, this paint is fast drying and easy to apply.

Typical Uses:

This product is designed for internal and external surfaces of offshore and onshore steel structures,which as an alternative product to hot spray (aluminum) and independent protective coating as well. What’s more, industrial situations, for instance, sea bridge, iron tower, boats and shipyard are the main applicable locations.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then as you stir it, you add the hardener until you to mix the paint well. The mixture was cured for 30 minutes no less than 10 ℃, while 15minutes over 10 ℃.

● Thinner:

Exclusive thinner for heat-resistant paint

● Airless Spray:

Nozzle tip: 0.017~0.023 inch.

Spray pressure: 15~18 MPa.

Thinner ratio: 0~15% (by weight of paint).

● Brush, Roller:

Recommended.

Must achieve required thickness.

DRYING SCHEDULE

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surface to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.

Steel: Sanding to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:2007). It is acceptable to polish by power tools to meet at least St2.0(ISO8501-1:2007).

Steel with shop primer: clean, dry, sound and approved shop primer.

Painted surfaces: only on clean, dry and sound compatible primers.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 ℃ higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

Silicone haet-resistant anti-corrosion tpcoat 250℃ : 2*40µm (dry film thickness)

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.

Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse away from fire and heat. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature.
