PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is prepared by alkyl silicate solution, ultrafine metal powder, color pigment, various additives and solvent. With high content of zinc powder, its film has superior cathodic protection and great weather ability.

Typical Uses:

Furthermore, the coating can withstand the high temperature up to 400℃.This product is widely designed as anti-rust primer for bridges, steel structure, iron tower, vehicles and other ferrous metal. Meanwhile, it can be used as the shop primer.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then keep stiring until you get it mixed well while you add the hardener . Generally, if the temperature below 10 ℃, it needs 30 min induction time; if the temperature over 10℃, it needs 15 min induction time.

● Mixing Ratio:

Part A: Part B= 24:6(by weight).

● Thinner:

IInorganic exclusive thinner.

● Airless Spray:

Nozzle tip: 0.017~0.023 inches.

Spray pressure: 15~18 MPa.

Thinner ratio: 5~15% (by weight of paint).

● Brush, Roller:

Recommended for small areas only. Must achieve required thickness.

SURFACE TREATMENT

The surface to be coated shall be clean, dry and free from contaminations. Also, the surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
Bare steel: sandblasting to Sa2.5(IOS8501-1:2007). For the non-soaking site, acceptable for power tool grinding, at least reach St2(IOS8501-1:2007).
Steel with shop primer: only apply to clean, dry, sound and approved shop primer.
Painted surface: only apply to clean, dry and intact compatible primer.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3℃ higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.

Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
