Best Waterborne Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer for metal surface, oil tank and bridge

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The product is a two-component coating composed of waterborne epoxy resin, zinc powder, waterborne amine curing agent, deionized water, etc.

Typical Uses:

It can be used as the antirust primer for the repairing shipbuilding, gas storage tank, oil tank, bridge, etc. Meanwhile, this paint is also suitable for the antirust of the galvanized parts, which is the best primer for heavy corrosion coating of epoxy finish.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then as you stir it, you add the hardener until you get to mix well.

● Mixing Ratio:

Part A: Part B= 20:4(by weight).

● Thinner:

Clean water.

● Airless Spray:

Nozzle tip: 0.025~0.031 inches.

Spray pressure: 18~28 MPa.

Thinner ratio: 0~10% (by weight of paint).

● Brush, Roller:

Recommended for small areas only.

Must achieve required thickness.

DRYING SCHEDULE

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surfaces to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
Coated surface: applied on clean, dry and undamaged primer only.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3℃ higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.

Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, ventilated and away from heat sources warehouse. Storage temperature above 0℃, the shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
