    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    Heat resiatant anti-corrosive paint for underground pipeline 6

    It is a two-component product composed of epoxy resin, modified phenolic resin, new ST anti-rust pigment, filler, anti-rust additive and mixed solvent. Significantly, this paint, which has good chemical stability, is resistant to alkali, acid, heat, and moisture.

    Typical Uses:

    This product is applicable to the outer wall of various buried steel pipelines including heat supply network and liquid storage tank. Meanwhile, it is used to protect against corrosion of the steel structure and concrete underwater or at the alternation of wetting and drying.

    Application Guide

    ● Mixing:

    Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then as you stir it, you add the hardener until you get to mix well. Generally, if the temperature below 10℃, it needs 30 min induction time; if the temperature over 10 ℃, it needs 15 min induction time.

    ● Mixing Ratio:

    Part A: Part B=20:5 (by weight)

    ● Thinner:

    Exclusive thinner.

    ● Airless Spray:

    Nozzle tip: 0.018~0.025 inches.

    Spray pressure: 18~25 MPa.

    Thinner ratio: 0~15% (by weight of paint).

    ● Brush, Roller:

    Recommended for small areas only.

    Must achieve required thickness.

    SURFACE TREATMENT

    All surfaces to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
    Bare steel: sandblasting to Sa2.5(IOS8501-1:2007). For the non-soaking site, acceptable for power tool grinding, at least reach St2(IOS8501-1:2007).

    Steel painted work shop primer: apply to clean, dry, intact and approved primer.
    Painted surface: only apply to clean, dry and intact compatible primer.

    APPLICATION

    Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3℃ higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

    SAFETY AND HEALTH

    Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.

    Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

    Storage:

    Store this product in shady, dry, ventilated and away from heat sources warehouse. Storage temperature above 0℃, the shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
