PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This two-component product is composed of epoxy resin, red lead, anti-rust pigment, amine curing agent, auxiliaries, etc. It’s essential that the film has great performance in strong adhesion, mechanical strength, and rust resistance. Besides, the coating has good wettability for metal surface, with low requirements for metal surface treatment.
Typical Uses:
This product is typically used as the anti-rust primer for steel surface which has high requirements for anti-rust performance such as gas holders, all kinds of storage tanks, underwater steel structures, underground pipelines, ships, marine mine structures and industrial plant equipment, etc.
Application Guide
● Mixing:
Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then as you stir it, you add the hardener until you get to mix well.
● Mixing Ratio:
Part A: Part B = 25:3 (by weight)
● Thinner:
Exclusive epoxy paint thinner
● Airless Spray:
Nozzle tip：0.017~0.023inches
Spray pressure：15~18MPa
Thinner ratio：5~15% (by weight of paint)
● Brush, Roller:
Recommended Must achieve required thickness

SURFACE TREATMENT
The surface to be coated shall be clean, dry and free from contaminations. Also, the surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
Bare steel: sandblasting to reach Sa2.5(IOS8501-1:2007). For the non-soaking site, acceptable for power tool grinding, at least reach St2(IOS8501-1:2007).
Painted surface: only apply to clean, dry and intact compatible primer.
APPLICATION
Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3 ℃ higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

SAFETY AND HEALTH
Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation. Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.
Storage:
Store this product in shady, dry, and ventilated warehouse. The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
