PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is composed of hydroxyl epoxy resin, corrosion resistant filler and special resin. Meanwhile, it also has the auxiliary agent, bath agent and isocyanate. Besides, it is divided into the primer and topcoat, part B is the general curing agent of finish and primer. Furthermore, the coating has excellent resistance to acid, alkali, salt, chemical atmospheric corrosion, etc. What’s more, it also combines the coating tenacity, bright plump, decorative and protective properties. In addition, this paint can be dried at room temperature or low temperature curing, and has high solid, good construction performance.

Typical Uses:

This product is designed for pickling plant and steel structure. It is also suitable for floor, wall, workshop anti-corrosion, hot dip galvanization workshop, etc. Besides, it can be used for the petrochemical, equipment, pipelines, storage tank.

Application Guide

● Mixing:

Use the power mixer to mix the main paint evenly, and then as you stir it, you add the hardener until you get to mix well.

● Mixing Ratio:

Part A: Part B= 20:5 (by weight)

● Thinner:

Acid-proof paint exclusive thinner

● Airless Spray:

Nozzle tip: 0.017~0.023 inches

Spray pressure: 15~18 MPa.

Thinner ratio: 0~15% (by weight of paint).

● Brush, Roller:

Recommended.

Must achieve required thickness.

DRYING SCHEDULE

SURFACE TREATMENT

All surfaces to be coated shall be clean and dry. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.

Steel: Sanding to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:2007). It is acceptable to polish by power tools to meet at least St2.0 (ISO8501-1:2007).

Steel coated with workshop primer: make sure workshop primer surface is clean, dry and undamaged.

Coated surface: applied on clean, dry and undamaged primer only.

APPLICATION

Application conditions: Substrate temperature shall be at 3℃ higher than dew point, relative humidity less than 85%. Measurement of temperature and humidity should be close to substrate.

Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer : 2*40µm (dry film thickness)

Epoxy Mica Iron Oxide Intermediate Paint : 2*50µm (dry film thickness)

Acrylic Polyurethane Finish : 2*40µm (dry film thickness)

SAFETY AND HEALTH

Please refer to MSDS before using this product. If you do not fully understand the restrictions, or cannot follow MSDS directions strictly, do not use this product. This volatile product is flammable. Keep this product away from flame or fire. Smoking is strictly prohibited in working area. Keep working area ventilated during application to make sure solvent vapor content is low in the air. PPE is necessary to avoid this product contacting with eyes or skin. More detailed safety tips are based on practical situation.

Please handle used paint barrel correctly to avoid any pollution.

Storage:

Store this product in shady, dry, ventilated and away from heat sources warehouse. Storage temperature above 0℃, the shelf life is 12 months at room temperature. If exceeding shelf life, the products shall be tested before using.
